Chair
She was born in Çorum province of Turkey on February 6 1970. She graduated from Faculty of Pharmacy of Hacettepe University in Ankara and obtained her Master’s Degree on Pharmacognosy from Hacettepe University. She works as a pharmacist since 1993 and gave lectures at Faculty of Pharmacy of Cyprus Near East University.
She was elected as Member of Parliament during the General Elections held on 7 June 2015 and re-elected on 1 November 2015. She is the member of Executive Board of Justice and Development Party (AK Party); member of the Central Decision Making and Administrative Committee of AK Party between 2012 and 2014 and Second Regional Coordinator of AK Party Organization; member of the Committee on Health, Family, Labor and Social Affairs; Chairwoman of the Turkey-Slovenia Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group; member of Executive Board of the International Association for Homeopath; Co-Chair of an NGO named YAŞADER; member of the Ankara Chamber of Pharmacists.
She completed various internship, including the Maryland University Faculty of Pharmacy in Washington D.C. Baltimore and Maryland for practice on Oncology Plant Treatment in FDA, Community Pharmacy in Baltimore. She served as a negotiator in Moldovia on behalf of the Red Crescent Pharmacy Warehouse and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency She has been carrying out several civil society initiatives based on common cousine and inter-cultural dialogue with the cooperation of Ministry of Internal Affairs targeting at the cultural integration of Middle East oriented women and creating employment at least for 25 women in her home town Corum in Turkey. Besides, she has been working with the Hacettepe University of Ankara and Hitit University of Çorum on training the women about how to extract oil from medical herbs targeting at providing employment for at least 40 Middle East oriented women residing in Çorum. She organized exhibitions at the end of this initiative to promote the project internationally with the view of attracting the attention of the rest of the world and create awareness regarding the case. She established a women workshop in Çorum to create employment for the women in need from Middle East origin.
